Description

So have a new character thanks to another round of blind shipping with Moro456 This is my half, while Afi is her half. They are going to be interesting together thats for sure. 

James "Blue Bane" Milford
Son of Pirates
  • Over 200 years old technically; Junior
  • His father was a human, however, his mother not so much. On the brink of death, she was offered a chance at eternal life on the sea if she joined the dastardly crew of Davy Jones. She eagerly accepted and became an undead pirate that would sail the seas forever, only able to make dock every ten years. On the one of these days where the Flying Dutchman made port in Tortuga, she came across a young man with a fire in his eyes and a loud mouth. She decided he was worth spending her time with him untill she had to leave for the sea again. It wasn't until many days later did she realize that she was pregnant with his child.
    • Although she enjoyed her life, she did not want it for her child, or at least not yet. When she drew close to term she begged her captain for him to allow her to take a long boat to search for the man she met that fateful night and begrudgingly, he allowed her but only gave her month to find him otherwise the child would be his too.
    • The month was almost up when she finally found the man, thankfully at sea employed on a ship. At night they met and the same night she gave birth to James. She parted then, promising to see them every ten years at the same dock that they first met. James' father was left with the challenge to suddenly explain to his captain why he has a new born baby on his ship or hide his son.
      • It went on for about a month, where James was kept below deck in a hidden corner and his father would visit him as much as he could. Most of his rations went to his son but still it wasn't a healthy environment for a new born child to grow up in. It was a blessing and curse when he was finally found by another crew member because of his cries. Ultimately his father was discharged from any further service. His former captain did agree to give him his next months pay, but his son could no longer feed from his rations as he wouldl be given none while they remained at sea. Unknown to the captain, many of the crew members sacrified their own food to the Milfords as James' father was a well liked man on the ship.
    • Once the ship made dock, it did away with the Milfords, leaving them to fend for themselve with little to nothing. No legal crew and captain who hire him after that, not wanting the extra baggage of a child until James' father finally turned to a pirate crew who not only accepted him and his son but they became family. James grew up literally on his father's back as he would be strapped to him as he would climb the ropes up and down the ship. James was taught everything and anything about the sea. He was a natural when it came to wielding a cutlass and even the wheel of the ship and was seen his high respect of all the crew members. Life was good...that was until it wasnt. 
      • The ship was suddenly fired upon by another that was far stronger then their's. The battle was long and fierce, as the crew did not only have to fight the superior ship but also the elements. Ultimately, the ship was practically torn in two and was consumed by the sea. Everyone was swallowed up, except for James. He managed to survive* somehow and swam after the ship that killed his family, seeking out revenge. 
      • Each time he would board, attempt to kill the captain, fail, be "killed", thrown over board and it would all happen over and over again for almost two months which earned him the nickname "Blue Bane". The ship's captain finally decided to capture James instead and subjected him to heavy whipping and other horrible punishments that left him on the brink of death. Finally, he chained four cannon balls to the boys limbs and sunk him to the bottom of the sea. However, James never died or at least not completely. For years he has been trapped to the sea flower, slowly dragging his cannon balls to find that heartless man and finally kill him. 
      • While he travels, he has become a myth, a legend that all seamen have come to fear. Blue Bane has been come to be known as destroyer of all, as anything in his path will be obliterated. Whole armadas have been consumed by his wrath as he unknowingly has a blessing that all crew members of Davy Jones have; the blessing of the sea. The longer he stays, the closer he grows to it and it to him. It obeys him, moves with him, lives in him. 
    • Only recently has he surfaced, still searching for the man even though all say he has died but James knows better. He knows that the Captain was searching for the fountain of youth and he believe he found it.
  • James a stern young man with a permanent case of RBF. He is also quite cynical with a dark, sick sense of humor. 
    • His personality and character was extremely affected by the tragedy that occured to his family and ship. He experiences horrible survivors guilt and doesn't feel it was right for him to survive. For pete's sake he can't even successfully carry out the revenge and grieve over the lost of his family properly. 
      • The only time he gets somewhat close to his "normal" state of mind and personality is when he is drunk...really drunk. He is happy, laughing, telling tall tails, and singing sea shanties. He is carefree and seems to live in the moment as though he is standing at the helm of a ship, feeling the sea salt spray his face and the wind tousle his hair.
    • He is also partially confused about his existence. He is unaway of what he really is and believes that his condition is either a blessing from God or a curse placed by Satan.
      • His religious and he does believe in a god as he was baptized Roman Catholic. He tries to pray every day and always keeps a rosary with him to pray it at least once a day. He also uses it as a comfort/distraction by counting the beads. Its the only thing of his father's that survived the attack. 
    • Earning his trust is almost impossible. His perception of other's intentions are extremely warped and often believed most people are either motivated by greed or hate.
    • Although he is normally quite, when he is nervous or anxious James will talk you to death if he feels comfortable around you. 
  • Random Facts:
    • Some things about his current state. 
      • He has many portions of his body that have either been ripped open, eaten away, or rotted off, leaving bone and internal tissue exposed, yet he still endures as though nothing is wrong. However, Jame's left leg is really really messed up. He limps on it all the time and is seriously considering just chopping it off and getting a peg leg. The bone constantly is breaking (and healing) to tear away more and more of the tissue and his is honestly surprised it hasn't fallen off yet. 
      • The cannon balls can't be removed by anything as the iron cast so strong, nothing will cut it or break it. The only way James can hope to having them removed is for the captain to do it himself as the iron itself was infused by some magic placed by him. 
      • * James technically didn't survive his ships destruction. He did drown but since he was already half undead, he didn't feel it and even believes he is still alive. His heart doesn't beat or anything which is why he constant survived the abused inflicted on him after his murder attempts. Technically his some kinda of zombie pirate. 
    • James has always had an interest in medicine. As a cabin boy, he worked closely with the ship's nurse and he helped with many operations from amputations to cases of the common cold.
      • Totally jokes about conducting amputations if someone complains about something around him. 
        • "Ow, I got a paper cut on my finger" "Welp, looks like we need to cut it off then"
      • He originally started studying anatomy so he could be a better sword fighter.
      • He is so desensitized toward blood, gore, and pretty much anything that could be considered gross by the squeamish. Nothing grosses him out anymore.
    • Since he has only recently surfaced, James has no idea how modern technology works at all and is actually kind of scared of it. 
    • He actually really likes to sing and use to play the flute even.
    • He is apart of the fencing team, even though he can't move very quickyl thanks to the cannon balls. 
    • James has a really think accent that is pretty much a mix of ones he grew up with, especially cockney and Irish.
      • He can speak French, Spanish, English and a bit of Chinese. 
    • He is an amazing strategist and loves to play games such as chess.
    • James wants nothing more but to return to the life of the sea. He wants his own ship to sail for eternity just to enjoy it in all of its beauty. He misses the feeling of freedom the most.     
      • He actually was destined to captain his ship once his captain passed. 
  • Friends: He doesn't really have any as he prefers to keep to himself...however, many sea folk know of him and have tried befriending him in the past.
  • Relationship status: Future relationship-Afi 
    • Sexual/Romantic orientation: Bisexual/romantic.

Okay but like, how salty is he?
No but really, he's really cool. I love his design and his backstory but his leg is freaking me out a little. I would love to give him friends or enemies but I Will have to Think about who would work with him (Or not work).
